Next month, Broadway's record-breaking, six-time Tony Award-winning musical smash CHICAGO is pleased to welcome back Christopher Sieber in the role of Billy Flynn, "the silver-tongued prince of the courtroom," for a limited engagement beginning Tuesday, March 8 and continuing through Friday, March 25.

A two-time Tony Award nominee for his performances in Shrek and Spamalot, Christopher Sieber's Broadway credits also include Thoroughly Modern Millie, Into the Woods, Beauty and the Beast, Triumph of Love and A Christmas Carol.

His other New York stage credits include Off-Broadway's The Kid, Avow and The Boys in the Band. His television and film credits include Morning Glory, "Pushing Daisies," "Johnny and the Sprites," See You in September, "It's All Relative," "Two of a Kind," "Sex and the City," "Ed," "Guiding Light," "All My Children" and "Another World."

At CHICAGO, Sieber will be stepping in for Brent Barrett, who plays his final performance as Billy Flynn on Monday, March 7. Barrett will rejoin the show on Saturday, March 26.

Now playing at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.), CHICAGO also stars Bianca Marroquin as Roxie Hart, Leigh Zimmerman as Velma Kelly, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and LaVon Fisher-Wilson as Matron "Mama" Morton.

As previously announced, longtime CHICAGO veteran Roz Ryan rejoins the comany as Matron "Mama" Morton beginning Tuesday, February 28, and world-renowned supermodel Christie Brinkley is set to make her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart for an 11-week engagement beginning Monday, April 4.

Now in its 15th glorious year of girls, glitz and glamour on the Great White Way, the record-breaking smash hit musical CHICAGO is now the sixth longest-running production in Broadway history ... and shows no sign of ever slowing down!

CHICAGO features a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, and is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording.

Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, CHICAGO is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today's tabloids.

Directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking, and produced by Barry and Fran Weissler, CHICAGO has become a worldwide phenomenon with productions in 24 countries and 11 languages since 1996. The record-breaking London production of CHICAGO continues to hold the record as the longest-running American musical in West End history.
