Join us for Songs From Central Avenue Breakdown and Beyond!, a fundraiser for our upcoming twin productions at the Daegu International Music Festival & the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

The fundraiser takes place tonight, June 4th at 7PM at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in the West Bank Café (407 W. 42nd Street, NYC 10036). For reservations call, 212.695.6909. Tickets are $25 with a $15 food and drink minimum.

Tonight’s fundraiser will feature some of the most popular music from the sold out NYMF show, as well as work from composer Kevin Ray’s new musical in development. Mr. Ray will also debut two never before heard new songs from the show’s award winning score. Joining him onstage will be Kristine Bogan (Huckleberry Haywood), Abby Burke (Huckleberry Haywood), Albert Christmas (RAGTIME, Blue Bloods (CBS), Lights Out (FX)), Stephen Tyler Davis (Huckleberry Haywood), Jennie L. Harney (Beehive, 2010 Broadway Rising Stars), Rebecca LaChance (2010 Broadway Rising Stars), John Watson (Rent, The Broadway & National Tours) with a special appearance by Josh Tower (LION KING, RAGTIME, Langston in Harlem).

Central Avenue Breakdown won 5 of the top awards at last year’s New York Musical Theatre Festival including Excellence in Music, Orchestrations, Choreography & Individual Performance. It also won the coveted Daegu International Music Festival Production Award which takes the show to South Korea to perform at that festival in early July. Central Avenue Breakdown is also the first NYMF show ever to return for an special encore presentation upon its return from South Korea this July 19th-22nd at the Pershing Square Signature Theater Center.
