There's a new teacher in town. After more than a year of Tony-winner Kelli O'Hara handling the educational needs of Siam's royal family in Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical, The King and I, Broadway favorite Marin Mazzie, who thrilled audiences in PASSION and RAGTIME and made 'em laugh in KISS ME, KATE and BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, is getting rave reviews for her performance as English schoolteacher Anna, who tries to bring western culture to an eastern nation.

Charitybuzz is now hosting an online auction for two tickets to see Marin Mazzie, along with her co-star Daniel Dae Kim in Lincoln Center's lavish Broadway production of The King and I. After the performance, the winner and a guest will be treated to a backstage tour by Mazzie herself.

The winning bid will benefit Transport Group, a not-for-profit, Off-Broadway theatre company in New York City that stages new works and re-imagines revivals by American writers. Visit transportgroup.org.

Three-time Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie and Daniel Dae Kim recently joined the Tony Award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

Winner of four 2015 Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Musical, Lincoln Center Theater's production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I boasts a cast of 51 featuring Ruthie Ann Miles (Tony Award winner - Best Featured Actress in a Musical; as Lady Thiang), Ashley Park (as Tuptim), Conrad Ricamora (as Lun Tha), Edward Baker-Duly (as Sir Edward Ramsey), Jon Viktor Corpuz (as Prince Chulalongkorn), Paul Nakauchi (as Kralahome), Marc Oka (as Phra Alack), Rocco Sisto (as Captain Orton), and Nicky Torchia (as Louis).

One of Rodgers & Hammerstein's finest works, The King and I boasts a score which features such beloved classics as Getting To Know You; Hello, Young Lovers; Shall We Dance?; I Have Dreamed; and Something Wonderful. Set in 1860's Bangkok, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher, whom the imperious King brings to Siam to tutor his many wives and children.
