Rent star Adam Pascal will be seen on the April 2nd episode of the crime drama "Cold Case," which airs from 8 to 9 PM on CBS.

Written by Andrea Newman and directed by Paris Barclay, the episode is entitled "Wilkommen." As the title hints, the episode is set in the theatre world. "In 2002, Dennis Hirschfelder (Pascal) joined a community theatre as a cabaret singer, but on opening night he never made it to the stage to 'break a leg.' Instead, he was shot to death directly outside the backstage door. His murder was considered one of several shootings and muggings committed by local robbers who were never caught, however, all evidence pointed to someone inside the theatre. Most of Dennis' theatre friends called it the greed-eyed monster that killed him and now Lilly and Jeffries begin their quest to catch a killer," state press notes.

Adam Pascal--who has played the Emcee in the Broadway revival of Cabaret--reprised his Tony Award-nominated original Broadway performance as Roger Davis in the film version of Rent. Pascal also garnered Obie and Theatre World Awards for the star-making performance. He also originated the role of Radames in Disney's Aida, and appeared in the Actors' Fund benefit concerts of Chess and Hair.
