Hot on the heels of its September 8th opening night at WYNN LAS VEGAS (3131 Las Vegas Blvd.) -- to popular acclaim from audiences and rave reviews from Variety, Las Vegas Review Journal, Los Angeles Times and more -- the Las Vegas production of the 2004 Tony Award-winning musical AVENUE Q will be featured in a clue on the September 22, 2005* telecast of the popular game show JEOPARDY!

AVENUE Q -- and one of its beloved puppet characters -- will be featured in a JEOPARDY! category titled "Fun Across America" on the Sept. 22nd telecast (including in Las Vegas), hosted by Alex Trebek. *(check local listings; show to air September 23rd on West Coast.)

AVENUE Q was previously featured in video clues on JEOPARDY! since having won three 2004 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Original Score (by composer/lyricists Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx), and Best Book of a Musical (by Jeff Whitty).

Now in its third year on Broadway, the second production of AVENUE Q -- a musical about trying to make it in New York with a tiny bank account and big dreams -- began previews at WYNN LAS VEGAS on August 27, 2005. It officially opened -- to rave reviews -- at WYNN LAS VEGAS on September 8.

Jeopardy!, a winner of 24 Emmy awards since its debut in 1984, was recently listed among "The Greatest Game Shows of All Time" by TV Guide, and continues to be a ratings champion. The series is the #1-rated quiz show in syndication, and has held that title for over 1,000 weeks.
