The Book of Mormon is a Tony Award-winning musical comedy that follows the adventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries sent halfway across the world to spread the Good Word. Winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, as well as the Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album, five Drama Desk Awards, and the NY Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical. Since opening on March 24, 2011, the show has become one of the most successful productions in Broadway history, breaking the Eugene O'Neill Theatre house record more than 50 times. The national tour is part of the Gallagher Encore Series at Shea's Buffalo Theatre.
