Teatro Paraguas presents the premiere of Blue Desert, a new play by John Macker, directed by Noah G. Simpson. This two-act drama/comedy follows a father, a former horror film director (David Jondreau), and his adult daughter (Day Forgaard) as they embark on a journey to spread her mother’s ashes in the southwestern desert. Their adventure leads them to a struggling cantina where they encounter a shaman (JoJo Sena Tarnoff) and explore themes of family, loss, and self-discovery. The production runs from October 3 to October 19, 2025.
