The enchanting musical The Bridges of Madison County - the heartfelt story about a short-term love affair that lasts a lifetime when photographer Robert Kincaid wanders into the life of housewife Francesca Johnson for four days in the 1960s. Probably you have seen the multi-award-winning 1995 film directed by and starring Clint Eastwood, and co-starred Meryl Streep. The Broadway musical opened in 2014 and has enjoyed many national and international productions. Now we are fortunate to see the show in Albuquerque. The cast is led by Lorri Layle Oliver as ‘Francesa’ and Bill Williams as ‘Robert’. Lorri has been on stage at The Adobe and most of the other theatres in town for many years. Bryan is new to the Albuquerque theatre world, although he is no stranger to acting in films and plays. Their vocal expertise is sure to bring joy to our audiences. Director Pete Parkin also includes Jim Williams, Michelle Bunzel, Lucious Sanchez, Greta Greenblatt, Echo Dobie, Steven Higgins, Janie Woodard and Mariah Lujan in his fine cast.
Adobe Theater is at 9813 Fourth Street NW (2 blocks n. of Alameda), Albuquerque, NM.
