Marriott Theatre, located at 10 Marriott Drive in Lincolnshire, presents two musical theatre hits this season, The Producers and Little Women.

The first post-Broadway production of Mel Brooks' 12 Tony Award-winning The Producers, previewing September 5, opening September 12 and closing December 2.

"Once the king of Broadway, downtrodden Max Bialystock is now the infamous producer of dreadfully unsuccessful shows.  Leo Bloom, his neurotic accountant, tells Max he could actually get rich by producing a flop!  Together they hatch a get-rich-quick scheme to raise more money than they need for a sure-fire Broadway flop.  With plans to pocket the leftover funds when the show bombs, the pair creates the ultimate box office fiasco: a musical called Springtime for Hitler.  Of course… not everything goes as planned," explain press notes.

This romp features a hit score including, "When You Got It, Flaunt It," "We Can Do It," "I Wanna Be a Producer," and "Prisoners of Love."

The Producers stars Chicago's two favorite funny men, Marriott and Broadway favorites Ross Lehman as Max Bialystock, and Guy Adkins as Leo Bloom.  The show is directed and choreographed by Marc Robin.

Little Women, previewing December 5, opening December 12 and closing February 10, 2008, is the timeless story of the captivating and adventurous March sisters.

"This dazzling new musical follows tomboyish Jo, beautiful Meg, fragile Beth, and romantic Amy as they come-of-age in New England during the Civil War.  Based on Louisa May Alcott's endearing tale of the power of family, friendship and romance," state press notes.

The performance schedule for both shows is Wednesdays at 1PM & 8PM; Thursdays & Fridays at 8P; Saturdays at 5PM & 8:30PM; and Sundays at 1 PM & 5PM.

With the purchase of a $55 ticket on Wednesdays and Thursdays, you receive a free dinner. (Based on dining availability). All other performance ticket prices are $45, excluding tax and handling fees.  A $5.00 discount for students and seniors is valid for Wednesday matinees and both Sunday performances.   Additional dinners on Friday, Saturday and Sunday range from $32 - $43 (includes tax) per person at The Fairfield Inn and King's Wharf restaurants.  Free parking is available at all performances.
