Record-Breaking Tour Brings Streisand to Chicago in Nov.

Barbra Streisand, who has continued to break house records ever since her tour began on October 4th at Philadelphia's Wachovia Center, will perform at Chicago's United Center on November 7th and 9th.

The star's latest concerts at Toronto's Air Canada Centre now hold that venues top two highest grossing records, while her performance at Boston's TD Bank North Center continued the record breaking trend.

Top grossing records were also set in Washington DC, Montreal, Columbus and Philadelphia.  Additionally, her October 9th appearance at Madison Square Garden was the third highest grossing ever, exceed only by her own September 2000 shows.  She now holds the record for all three of the highest grossing shows in the venue's long history.

Streisand, who has received rave reviews, will play St. Paul's XCEL Energy Center tomorrow, October 24th and will continue on to the Bank Atlantic Center in Ft. Lauderdale on the 28th and the 30th.  The tour will then continue with dates in Atlanta, Atlantic City, Chicago, San Jose, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.
