Welcome to the world of Dominique, a glamorous transsexual hooker, in the throes of an emotional meltdown, caught between a rock and a hard face, juggling a stalker client and her cute, chavved out, drugged up boyfriend who hasn't got out of the bath in a week.

Shocking, sexy and sometimes sweet, Slap, the debut play by Alexis Gregory, who also plays Dominique, is a 70-minute rollecoaster ride you'll never forget.

Slap, directed by Rikki Beadle-Blair, will play 12 shows at the Theatre Royal, Stratford East in its new theatre space, from Thursday 1 - Saturday 10 October, playing twice on Thursday - Saturday each week.

Cast: Nigel Fairs, Frankie Fitzgerald and Alexis Gregory.

Nigel Fairs' roles include Inspector Morse in House of Ghosts (Baroque Theatre Co), Dr Watson in To Kill a Canary (Henley), Episcopalian dentist Martyn in The House (So and So, London), Douglas, Leonard and Elaine in a one man show Didn't you used to be Derek Jacobi? (tour), John George Haigh in his own award-winning play In Conversation with an Acid Bath Murderer and Gavin in another award-winner, My Gay Best Friend (co-written and performed with Louise Jameson).

Frankie Fitzgerald can currently be seen playing Jack Dickson alongside Tom Hardy in the Kray twins movie, Legend. His theatre credits include: Gutted (TRSE) directed by Rikki Beadle Blair, Pools Paradise (UK tour), A Midsummer Night's Dream for Millpond Media. On TV he was in London Irish (Channel Four) The Impressions Show (BBC) He Kills Coppers. His film apprearances include Stormhouse and Troy.

Slap is Alexis Gregory's debut play as a writer. It was initially developed at Theatre Royal Stratford East's 'Angelic Tales' Festival and then staged in the massive foyer entrance at Channel 4 as the first ever theatrical presentation in the channel's history. His second play, Bright Skin Light, has received workshop productions at Stratford East and his third, the verbatim piece Safe, based on his interviews with homeless and at risk LGBT youth, created in association with the Albert Kennedy Trust, has been performed at the Soho Theatre as part of the Pride in London Arts Festival.
