The Second City Toronto Presents UNWRAPPED and THE NAUGHTY LISTERS

The Second City Toronto is counting down to 2016 with two new holiday shows, and diverse improv and sketch performances every day of the week. The Second City offers evening and matinees performances on the MainStage and the brand new John Candy Box Theatre, which are perfect for family or office holiday parties - or the perfect escape from them!

The Second City Toronto's holly jolly Holiday revue hits the MainStage November 23 - January 1 with Unwrapped, a frank look at the holiday season through satirical sketches and songs. Unwrapped will poke fun at tacky traditions, garbage gifts, and the family feuds that come with festive celebrations.

The Second City Toronto will also present The Naughty Listers, a holiday show for the whole family featuring puppetry, and joyful songs from December 19 - January 1 on the MainStage. When Santa's most trusted elf goes rogue, he must recruit the naughtiest children on his list to get The North Pole under control!
The Fall 2015 Mainstage Revue, Click Bait & Switch, continues with performances well into 2016, including a special show on New Year's Eve with champagne and party favours.

Upstairs at The John Candy Box Theatre, The Second City Training Centre provides performance opportunities to students and emerging artists each day of the week. Recurring shows at The John Candy Box Theatre include: Monday Night Mash-Up, a mix of current students, alumni, and newbies playing improv games; Let the Music Play, where co-hosts Phatt Al and Matty Burns introduce musical musings into every improv scene; The Iron Maidens, an evening of female-driven comedy with a special guest and open improv jam; The Candy Box Cabaret, a comedy showcase with spectacles ranging from magic, dance, character pieces, dramatic monologues and musical short form games; and Anyone Goes, where improv enthusiasts of all levels are placed on a team lead by an improv pro, and given ten minutes of stage time to give it their all.
