After garnering four Dora Mavor Moore Award nominations (including Outstanding Production, New Play, Ensemble and Female Performance) Ahuri Theatreand The Theatre Centre are proud to announce the return of RALPH + LINA. On stage for three shows only from Nov. 28 to 30, with exclusive student matinees from Nov. 25 to 28, Ralph + Lina is once again at The Theatre Centre's BMO Incubator for Live Arts (1115 Queen St. W.).

Written by Michele Smith (CHECKOV'S SHORTS, CHEKHOV'S LONGS...IN THE RAVINE) with real life husband and wife duo, Dan Watson (A FOOL'S LIFE) and Christina Serra, Ralph + Lina is a rough-and-tumble romance that tells the true story of Serra's grandparents - two Italian lovers struggling to stay together in the face of the Second World War, forced immigration and old age.

Originally produced in April 2014 with the support of Why Not Theatre and Theatre Smith Gilmour, RALPH + LINA was part of an innovative new producing model to address the challenges facing emerging theatre companies. Over six weeks in April 2014, the show played to critical acclaim and sold-out crowds at The Theatre Centre, which was followed by a sold-out Ontario tour.

"We are thrilled to bring RALPH + LINA home to The Theatre Centre," said Watson."They have welcomed us as part of the family, and it's an honour to be included in their fall season a long side so many groundbreaking and acclaimed artists and productions."

RALPH + LINA is directed by Smith and performed by Watson and Serra. They are joined on the creative team by lighting designer André du Toit (The Double), costume and set designer Ken MacKenzie (Kim's Convenience), and sound designer Richard Lee(Paper Series).

RALPH + LINA will be presented at The Theatre Centre's BMO Incubator for Live Arts(1115 Queen St. W.) from Nov. 28 to 30. Tickets from $25 to $30 are available online attheatrecentre.org or by phone at 416-538-0988
