Australian improvster Mark Gambino, returning Capetonian improvster Candice D'Arcy and resident Capetonian improvster Megan Furniss will get together for three nights of improv mayhem when their FORTUNE COOKIE beraks open at Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre in January.

A unique, original and fun hour-long show, FORTUNE COOKIE came about because - in the words of Furniss herself - "We've been missing making up stuff with each other. When Candice and Mark decided to come back to Cape Town for a visit I thought, come on, let's perform three shows and everyone who wants to see them can see them on stage first. Then I thought, maybe we'll have other guest performers on each night too. Just because the last time I did that it was such fun."

FORTUNE COOKIE runs at the Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre from 4 - 6 January at 8pm nightly. Tickets cost R70 if booked and prepaid online at the Alexander Bar's website, or R80 if paid for at the theatre or booked at bar itself. Tickets can be purchased at the bar, which is situated at 76 Strand Street in Cape Town's city centre, anytime during its regular opening hours. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Keep up to date with events at Alexander Bar on Facebook and Twitter.
