Off-Broadway's award-winning Irish Repertory Theatre presents the third production of its 27th theatre season, a revival of Hugh Leonard's classic memory play, DA. Directed by Charlotte Moore, DA features a cast that includes Sean Gormley, Kristin Griffith, John Keating, Nicola Murphy, Paul O'Brien, Ciaran O'Reilly, Adam Petherbridge andFiana Toibin. Throughout the summer, actors and members of the creative team for the upcoming Broadway production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time have been visiting QSAC's (Quality Services for the Autism Community) programs for students with Asperger's Syndrome. The visits have been a part of an effort by the show's production team to gain a deeper understanding regarding the life experience of young adults with Asperger's, their families, and their educators. Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz, and Rafe Spall star on Broadway in Harold Pinter's Betrayal, directed by ten-time Tony Award-winner Mike Nichols. On Monday, November 16, 2009 two hundred and fifty people gathered at the Edison Ballroom to celebrate the 31 years of Arts Horizons. The evening was hosted by Lauren Glassberg of WABC-TV. Founded in 1978, by John Devol, Arts Horizons has presented programs to over seven million students, teachers and community members. Professional, dedicated teaching artists from Broadway, Lincoln Center and all over the world motivate young people through the arts to attain new heights of learning. The programs serve all populations PreK-12, with a special emphasis on at-risk students and those with special needs.
