The Office! A Musical Parody has made its claim as one of the most successful shows currently running Off-Broadway. The new musical reached 130% gross potential Christmas week and shattered all Theater Center box office records in a single week by taking in nearly double that of any previous show, including the 11-year run of The Fantasticks. The Office! A Musical Parody celebrated its 100th Performance on Saturday, December 29, 2018.

The cast of The Office! A Musical Parody had a welcome visitor recently when Kim M. Ferry stopped backstage to offer up some of her insider knowledge of the iconic television show. Ferry worked as the Hair Department Head for 'The Office' for all nine seasons at NBC. She took over the hair chair and spent time shaping, braiding and combing the locks of Michael Santora (Dwight), Katie Johantgen (Angela Martin), Taylor Coriell (Pam Beesly) and Ani Djidjiran (Kelly Kapoor).

David Wilson Barnes plays Charlie Duff, a burnt-out local newscaster who transforms first his community and then himself when he begins praying on-air in the Huntington Theatre Company's new production of Stephen Belber's moving new drama The Power of Duff. Amy Pietz ("The Office," "Caroline in the City") plays Duff's ex-wife Lisa, and Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein, Friends with Kids) plays Sue, Charlie's co-anchor, in the production helmed by Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois. Performances began on October 11 at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. The Power of Duff is produced in association with New York Stage and Film and Vassar's Powerhouse Theater. As many remember, not too long ago, The Office was set for its own spin-off. It was to star perfunctory suck-up Dwight Schrute and the goings-on at his family's beet farm. Well, the network axed it not too long ago, and rather than waste the footage, THE OFFICE's showrunners have reworked the episode to fit into the NBC show's regular season.

On THE OFFICE's upcoming episode 'Couples Discount,' the office pairs off into pretend couples to take advantage of a Valentine's Day discount at a local mini-mall. Erin (Ellie Kemper) assures Pete (Jake Lacy) she will break up with Andy (Ed Helms) when he returns, but he has good reason to doubt her.
