The Pulitzer Prize Board has just announced that English, by Sanaz Toossi has won the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Other finalists included: On Sugarland by Aleshea Harris and The Far Country by Lloyd Suh.

The Black Box has announced its next main stage show, an under-produced masterwork: Edward Albee's The Play About The Baby. The show opens on November 10 at The Black Box, 49 East Palisade Avenue in Englewood, NJ with tickets on sale now.

Typically, I don’t care much for works that fall into the realm of existentialism, theatre of the absurd, and the like. SEASCAPE, however, is different. Perhaps because it is primarily focused on interpersonal communication. Also, the characters, for the most part are dynamic, interesting, and rather unusual.

Running September 29 through October 23 at The Unicorn Theatre, winner of the 1975 Pulitzer Prize, Edward Albee's Seascape brings true eloquence to its compelling yet subtle examination of the very meaning and significance of life itself.
