There’s more to this classic tale than sewing mice and magical pumpkins. Ballet Memphis will reprise Steven McMahon’s interpretation of the Charles Perrault fairy tale as the season’s last mainstage show. The company debuted the work–featuring the famous score by Sergei Prokofiev as well as sets from the London City Ballet –during the 2008-09 season.

???????The students of the Summer Musical Theater Intensive at Broadway Method Academy in Fairfield, CT had the amazing opportunity to work with Tony Award Winner, Kelli O'Hara (Light in the Piazza, South Pacific, King & I).  The Tony Winner shared stories of her theatrical journey and spoke of the importance of capitalizing on uniqueness. Students had the chance to ask O'Hara questions about life and the business, and a few were able to sing for the Tony winner.
