On Friday, March 24 at 8 PM, Flushing Town Hall will present Octogenarian Women of Jazz during Women’s History Month. 

The Main Stage of the HKRep 2022–23 season concludes with the final production helmed by Artistic Director Anthony Chan prior to his retirement. A moving story drawing on precious memories of noted filmmaker Roger Lee, this new play follows the success of his award-winning film A Simple Life, sharing personal recollections that touch people's hearts.

EastLine Theatre will celebrate its 10th anniversary this month with a two-part production of Tony Kushner's acclaimed theatrical epic 'Angels in America.' The non-profit theatre group has established itself as an impressive presence in the community with intimate productions amplified by the skill and imagination its production teams over the years. Their tagline - 'little but fierce' - is well-earned 10 years after its inception in a tiny storefront blackbox in Wantagh. Now, they are partnering with the Babylon Citizens Council of the Arts to stage the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play celebrated as 'a turning point in the history of gay drama, the history of American drama, and of American literary culture.'

While the series' recurring cast includes Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, Donnie Wahlberg, and more, guest stars have included Audra McDonald, Kelli O'Hara, Joanna Gleason, Adrienne Warren, Jinkx Monsoon, Norm Lewis, Norbert Leo Butz, and more. Kentucky Performing Arts, working in partnership with PNC Broadway in Louisville, is kicking off the 2022-2023 KPA Presents season with a big first: the premiere performances of the North American national tour of the hit Broadway show Jagged Little Pill.  The touring show debuts in Louisville on August 31 and September 1 after a month of rehearsals, set construction, and production tasks took place at The Kentucky Center. After the first two initial Louisville performances, Jagged Little Pill will hit the road for a national tour.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023. Three of the season's productions will be mounted at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, and three will be staged at Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre. Subscriptions are now available; single tickets will be available in the coming months at TheatreWorks.org.

Set in 2027, Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis' URINETOWN is an hilariously subversive fable of greed, corruption, love, revolution, and urination, in a time when water is worth its weight in gold and there's no such thing as a free pee. Set in a near-future dystopian Gotham, a severe 20-year drought has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens are forced to use public 'amenities' now, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. In this nightmare world, the punishment for an unauthorized pee is a trip to the dreaded Urinetown. But from the ruins of Democracy and courtesy flushes, there rises an unlikely hero who decides he's held it long enough, and he launches a People's Revolution to lead them all to urinary freedom!

Grammy award-winning artist, Lee Greenwood, best known for his signature song “God Bless the U.S.A.” will appear on Fox & Friends on Friday, May 27 to kick off Memorial Day weekend and launch the network’s summer concert series. Greenwood will also make appearances on Varney & Company, Fox News Radio, and more.

The Juilliard School will hold its 117th commencement ceremony on May 20, 2022, at 10:30am. The ceremony will be held outdoors on the Lincoln Center campus in Damrosch Park, presided over by Juilliard President Damian Woetzel. It will also be livestreamed at juilliard.edu for those unable to attend in person.
