This just in- FINDING NEVERLAND has found its new leading man! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, there are just over two weeks left to see Tony Award®-nominee and star of TV's 'Glee,' Matthew Morrison as Peter Pan creator J.M. Barrie in the smash hit, record-breaking Broadway musical Finding Neverland. Morrison's final performance will be Sunday, January 24. Before he goes, however, audiences will have only one week to catch Morrison on stage again with his opening night co-star, Emmy Award®-winner Kelsey Grammer, who returns to the show on Tuesday, January 19. (Grammer was previously announced to begin his run on January 15, however, his engagement will now commence on Monday, January 19.) En 1978, il dirige le Ballet-Theatre francais de Nancy et en 1980 est nomme directeur du Chatelet par Marcel Landowski, lors de la creation du « Theatre musical de Paris - Chatelet », subventionne par la Ville de Paris. Happy Birthday, Bebe Neuwirth! Neuwirth made her Broadway debut in the role of Sheila in A Chorus Line in 1980. She later appeared in revivals of Little Me (1982) Sweet Charity (1986), for which she won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, and Damn Yankees (1994). 1996 saw her play the role of Velma Kelly in the Broadway revival of Chicago. That role brought her her greatest stage recognition to date, and several awards including the Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical. Neuwirth would later return to the still-running revival of Chicago in 2006, this time in the role of Roxie Hart.She will next return to the musical as 'Mama Morton' in January 2014. (more...)

This past Monday marked the opening night of the American Dance Machine for the 21st Century (ADM21) as they returned to New York City. Founded and Produced by Artistic Director Nikki Feirt Atkins, ADM21 is dedicated to creating a living and vibrant archive of classic and current notable musical theater choreography. Continuing the legacy of the late Lee Theodore, who established the original American Dance Machine in 1976 until her death in 1987, and believed that "many great choreographic works are lost with the musical they once embellished," the impetus to preserve these dances drove Theodore and continues to drive Ms. Atkins.
