This week 11 year old Todd Bell from Whitehaven, Cumbria, joins the cast of Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre to play Billy Elliot's best friend Michael, alternating the role with current Michaels Zach Atkinson (12 years old from Manchester) and Tomi Fry (11 years old from Swindon). Due to its success last season, the Columbus Symphony will continue its Happy Hour free concert series in the 2014-15. The first concert will feature guest conductor Stephen Squires on Thursday, October 2, at the Ohio Theatre. The episode, entitled “The Good Listener”, hit the ground running this week as we caught back up with that major ensemble of brilliant characters we've been missing. The episode opened with a montage of Eddie Cantor singing, fish frying and other oddities, as abstract openings appear to be a theme this season.
