Obie Award winner Metropolitan Playhouse returns with the world premiere of Neith Boyce's THE SEA LADY, a 1935 play bound for Broadway that never reached its opening, in limited run from October 6 - 30, 2022, in person at the Playhouse. Alex Roe (Thunder Rock, Poor of New York, Virtual Playhouse) directs.

One of Ireland's greatest playwrights, Tom Murphy's A Whistle in the Dark will be staged on the Peacock stage this Autumn as part of Dublin Theatre Festival. A powerful portrayal of tribal violence and the devastation it brings in its wake, it remains Murphy's best known and most performed play to this day. 

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts have announced that tickets for the 2022/23 DCPA Theatre Company productions will go on sale Friday, August 5 at 10am MT.

Roundabout Theatre Company hosted a Theatre Talk on It Can't Happen Here, a radio play streaming from Berkeley Rep.

On Tuesday, October 13 a radio production of Sinclair Lewis' novel It Can't Happen Here will broadcast at 5PM PDT/8PM EDT via YouTube. Written in 1935 during the rise of fascism in Europe, Lewis' darkly satirical It Can't Happen Here follows the ascent of a demagogue who becomes president of the United States by promising to return the country to greatness.  

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today has announced that nearly 100 organizations nationwide are onboard to share the free radio play, It Can't Happen Here. The new audio adaptation will premiere on Tuesday, October 13 at 5pm PT/8pm ET, followed by a live Q&A with the creative team, director Lisa Peterson & co-adaptors Tony Taccone & Bennett S. Cohen.
