La Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), la Secretaría de Cultura federal y el Gobierno de la Ciudad de México, a través de su Secretaría de Cultura, instituciones mandantes del Colegio de San Ildefonso, en colaboración estrecha con el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (Inbal), con el decidido apoyo del Patronato Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso, que ha impulsado notablemente el patrocinio de muestras en este recinto y gestiones decisivas para el financiamiento de esta exposición a través del Estímulo Fiscal a Proyectos de Inversión en la Producción de Artes Visuales (Efiartes Visuales), presentan del 10 de diciembre de 2022 al 12 de junio de 2023, la exposición El espíritu del 22: Un siglo de muralismo en San Ildefonso, que celebra el primer centenario de esta vanguardia artística surgida en el recinto universitario (entonces sede de la Escuela Nacional Preparatoria), que coincide con su trigésimo aniversario como espacio museístico.

Peterson’s The Hiding Place. Now onstage in its Nashville premiere at the Soli Deo Center (which, to be frank, is equally notable and worthy of excessive praise) at Christ Presbyterian Academy through July 23, the play – which had its premiere in September 2019 at A.D. Players in Houston, Texas – proves to be both accessible, engaging and, we daresay, hopeful even as it tells a story from one of the darkest eras in human history.
