Tell us a bit about Hammerhead.

It's a new adaptation of A VERY OLD horror story, with added silliness and the odd bell and/or whistle for embellishment.

Why bring it to Edinburgh?

Because it's the greatest arts festival in the world! The train journey is also intermittently very pretty.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

It is - and I don't say this lightly - literally the only show on at 8pm in Pleasance Two.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

If you have a true heart, and valour in your eyes, then you will be welcomed with open arms and a ready smile.

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?

Far too much to choose, but a quick sample selection: Rachel Parris, Graham Dickson, Daniel Nils Roberts, The Free Association, and Charlotte Gittins will all be great.

See Joseph Morpurgo: Hammerhead at the Pleasance Courtyard throughout the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from 2nd - 27th August. For tickets visit www.edfringe.com
