Nikolay Khozyainov will make his Orchestral Debut at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center, Lincoln Theater, Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 3pm. He will be performing the Colossal piece, Beethoven's Fifth Concerto for Piano in E-Flat Major, commonly know as the "The Emperor's Concerto", with Maestro Michael Guttman and the Napa Valley Symphony. Beethoven's Fifth and final piano concerto is known as one of his most Grand and Beautiful Concertos. In the other half of the concert another grandiose piece Beethoven 5th Symphony will be performed by Maestro Guttman and the Napa Valley Symphony. Both of these works are turning points in the history of music and beautifully compliment one another

Renown for his stunning virtuosity and prodigious style. Nikolay began playing the piano at the age of five and studied at the Central Music School in Moscow. He continued his Graduate Studies at the Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory until May 2015. At present time he is pursuing an Advance Degree studying at the Hannover Hochschule fur Music under the guidance of world renowned Music Professor Arie Vardi.

Nikolay Khozyainov is now considered one of the most remarkable pianists of his generation. His musicality and formidable technique have thrilled audiences around the world. Still in his early twenties, his featured recitals and concerto engagements have already included sold out performances at some of the world's foremost stages such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center , Kennedy Center , Wigmore Hall , The Louvre and Théâtre des Champs-Élysées , Tchaikovsky Hall and Sundry Hatll.

In Nikolay's own words "I always perform with a great joy, always happy to see the listeners. Music is an invaluable gift given to people, using its language I can communicate with you, to exchange my thoughts and feelings with you. Everything I am saying to you through the musical sounds is coming from my heart, my soul. I always feel a lively pulsation of the hall, its energy, breath, mood. I also noticed that people who are listening and love classical music are special kind of people, as the classical music forms the best human qualities."

Nikolay anxiously awaits his debut in Napa to play Beethoven's Fifth because he feels especially connected to this piece. He feels the piece expresses, "A magical and passionate music that carves fire out of human hearts and makes tears appear on people's eyes. And sometimes these Shakespeare words come to my mind: "Where's that music coming from? From the earth, or the air?"

It is a must attend Debut Concert as Khozyainov artistry is limitless. He is clearly an extraordinary artist who has everything: a big sound, splendid technique, and a musicality far beyond his years.
