In 1971 Wil Love first performed in the woods of Caledonia in the play Here Lies Jeremy Troy at Totem Pole Playhouse. Little did he know at the time that he was beginning a lifelong relationship with The Playhouse. Now more than 150 shows later Mr. Love continues to make audiences laugh with his signature wit and comic posturing. From 1984 to 2008 he served as Associate Artistic Director for the theater and is now a company member. However, he's not only in demand in Pennsylvania; he is also a resident company member at Everyman Theatre where he just finished a run as Alfred Doolittle in its critically acclaimed production of Pygmalion.

In Suite Surrender Mr. Love is sure to delight as Bernard S. Dunlap, the General Manager of the Palm Beach Royale Hotel & Spa. When two combative divas are accidentally booked in the same hotel suite, Dunlap has to think fast and act even faster to keep the two from discovering they have a secret roommate. Add in a pampered lap dog, a star-struck bellhop and the entire US Navy and the recipe for another fantastically frenetic farce is complete.

Mr. Love was last seen on the Totem Pole stage as Harry in last season's 45 Seconds From Broadway. He also enchanted the region every time he reprised the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in The Playhouse's biannual production of A Christmas Carol. After Suite Surrender, Mr. Love will direct the next show in Totem Pole's season, Honus and Me.
