Milwaukee Repertory Theater's holiday classic A Christmas Carol returns to the historic Pabst Theater, November 26 - December 24, 2019.

The holiday masterpiece, A Christmas Carol, opened on Broadway last night, November 20, following critically acclaimed runs at The Old Vic, London. Playwright Jack Thorne and director Matthew Warchus offer a magical new interpretation of Charles Dickens' classic story. Playwright Jack Thorne and director Matthew Warchus offer a magical new interpretation of Charles Dickens' classic story.  The production began previews on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street), and will open on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.

Seattle Opera presents Cinderella!

Ford's Theatre Director Paul R. Tetreault announced that acclaimed Washington actor Craig Wallace will return to Ford's to perform the role of Ebenezer Scrooge for the company's holiday production of A Christmas Carol. Performances of the classic Charles Dickens story begin November 15 and continue for a six-and-a-half-week engagement through December 30, 2018. This 'musically high-spirited' and 'infectiously jolly' (The Washington Post) production is adapted by Michael Wilson and directed by Michael Baron.

From December 1 to 18, the beloved tale of Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' comes to life at the Athens Theatre in Deland. This particular telling of the story is a musical version with singing and dancing numbers. While I'm not sure I particularly enjoyed the musical version of the show, I can definitely say that the outstanding performances of the cast are well worth the cost of a ticket.
