Season three of the web-slinging Emmy® Award-nominated 'Marvel's Spider-Man: Maximum Venom' debuts with a one-hour special on SUNDAY, APRIL 19 (9:00 p.m. EDT/PDT) on Disney XD and DisneyNOW. Comprised of six one-hour specials and featuring appearances by favorite Marvel characters including Captain Marvel, Groot, Dr. Strange and Star-Lord, the new season follows Spider-Man as he is pushed to his breaking point after Venom summons an earth-shattering threat from its home planet. 

Following a highly competitive negotiation, HBO Max has announced an exclusive, multi-year deal with beloved children's author Mo Willems, an Emmy®-Award winning writer, New York Times best-selling author, and illustrator, establishing Willems as HBO Max's very first artist in residence. As part of this two-year deal, HBO Max has acquired streaming rights to Willems' first live-action special Don't Let the Pigeon Do Storytime! from Greg Silverman's media company Stampede Ventures who will produce all additional content under this deal. HBO Max has committed to additional live-action Storytime specials, as well as multiple animated specials based on Willems' wildly popular children's books. The first animated special will be based on New York Times Best Seller, Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed.

Production has begun on Disney Junior's 'The Chicken Squad,' a new animated series for preschoolers and their families slated to debut in 2020. Inspired by Doreen Cronin's popular book series, 'The Chicken Squad' follows Coop, Little Boo and Sweetie-a trio of young chicken siblings-and Captain Tully, a seasoned watchdog, who use teamwork and critical thinking skills to solve problems in THE NEIGHBORHOOD and keep the peace in their backyard. The announcement was made today by Joe D'Ambrosia, senior vice president, Original Programming and General Manager, Disney Junior.

In Disney+'s “Lady and the Tramp,” a timeless re-telling of the 1955 animated classic, a pampered house dog and a tough but lovable stray embark on an unexpected adventure and, despite their differences, grow closer and come to understand the value of home. Life is good for Lady, an overachieving American Cocker Spaniel who resides in an upscale suburban neighborhood. Her owners, Jim Dear and Darling, spoil her daily and her neighbors, Jock, an outspoken Scottish Terrier and Trusty, a world-weary Bloodhound, are always within barking distance. This afternoon, Disney+ made its D23 Expo debut with its first-ever showcase presentation, announcing six new series in development and revealing key details about the highly anticipated streaming service to an enthusiastic audience at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim. The event showcased the sweeping array of talent with in-person and video appearances from the stars of Disney+'s slate of originals from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic and included sneak peeks, trailer premieres, and exclusive news about the service and its upcoming projects. Actress Yvette Nicole Brown, who stars in the Disney+ original film “Lady and the Tramp,” hosted the lively presentation, welcoming Kevin Mayer, chairman, Direct-to-Consumer & International, to the stage to kick off the show.
