Critically lauded Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Eleni Mandell has confirmed more tour dates in support of her 11th studio album, Wake Up Again, out June 7 on Yep Roc Records. Kicking off with an album release show June 9, at Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles, the tour includes stops in Philadelphia, New York City, and a debut appearance at JazzFest in Montreal. Casting has been announced for the premiere engagement of Disney's THE LION KING in West Palm Beach.  THE LION KING will leap onto The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts' Bernard and Chris Marden stage on Wednesday, April 24 for a 2-week engagement through Sunday, May 5.

Horatio Alger's Boys will be presented by Off-Broadway's Saint Luke's 2nd Monday Play Reading Series, part of their 2018-2019 season. Written by David Lally, Horatio Alger's Boys imagines the real-life meeting between Alger and his friend, William James, brother of Henry and Alice, one Spring night in 1870. Alger has come to share the truth of his life, and James, his friend, later to become known as 'the father of psychiatry', will listen. The saga of Horatio Alger did not begin and end with his 'rags to riches' stories.

Full casting has today been announced for the landmark revival of the award-winning British musical The Hired Man, co-produced by the Queen's Theatre Hornchurch and Hull Truck Theatre in association with Oldham Coliseum Theatre. This epic heroic tale of love, betrayal and loyalty opens in Hornchurch (27 April - 18 May), transfers to Hull (23 May - 15 June) and concludes in Oldham (20 June - 6 July).

 Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) continues its Spring 2019 season on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 7:30pm with a performance by St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble +Adam Rosenblatt, percussionist, at BAC's Jerome Robbins Theater (450 W. 37th Street). Rosenblatt will perform Belgian composer Thierry de Mey's theatrical and dramatic piece Light Music, in which movements and gestures produce light and sound through interactive technology. This interdisciplinary solo performance will be bookended by Viennese classics - Joseph Haydn's festive Divertimento for Strings from 1754 and Joseph Lanner's charming 19th century waltzes, performed by the St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble. These virtuosic musicians make up the artistic core of the renowned Orchestra of St. Luke's - who share the performing arts complex with BAC at 450 W. 37th Street.
