HBO Max announced today it will be crowning The Prince, created by Gary Janetti (Family Guy, Will & Grace), as the latest animated comedy series order for the streamer. The series is inspired by Janetti's hilarious Instagram account which has nearly one million followers and has garnered international media attention for its satire of British Royals through the eyes of a young Prince George, eldest child of Prince William and Princess Kate. Janetti will star in the series as Prince George alongside the voice talents of Orlando Bloom as Prince Harry, Condola Rashad as Meghan Markle, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton, Tom Hollander as both Prince Philip and Prince Charles, Alan Cumming as George's butler Owen, Frances De La Tour as Queen Elizabeth, and Iwan Rheon as Prince William.

Tom Hollander to Star in US BBC One

Filming has begun for Us, BBC One's four-part drama adapted by David Nicholls from his hugely popular novel of the same name. Tom Hollander (Baptiste, The Night Manager) will be joined by Saskia Reeves (Luther, Shetland), Sofie Gråbøl (The Killing, Fortitude), Tom Taylor (Doctor Foster, The Dark Tower), Iain De Caestecker (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, The Fades) and Thaddea Graham (Curfew, The Letter for the King), with casting by Sarah Crowe.

Joe Prentice Productions today announces a new production of Olivier Award-winning writer Laura Wade's critically acclaimed dark comedy Posh, starring Tyger Drew-Honey (TV's Outnumbered). Heading out on a five-week UK tour, Posh will open at Oxford Playhouse on Tuesday 3 September and will tour to Cambridge Arts Theatre, Theatre Royal Bath, Rose Theatre Kingston and Theatr Clwyd, Mold until 26 October 2019. The Academy Invites 842 To Membership; 50% Are Women

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 842 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. The 2019 class is 50% women, 29% people of color, and represents 59 countries. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2019.
