Filming has begun for Us, BBC One's four-part drama adapted by David Nicholls from his hugely popular novel of the same name. Joe Prentice Productions today announces a new production of Olivier Award-winning writer Laura Wade's critically acclaimed dark comedy Posh, starring Tyger Drew-Honey (TV's Outnumbered). Heading out on a five-week UK tour, Posh will open at Oxford Playhouse on Tuesday 3 September and will tour to Cambridge Arts Theatre, Theatre Royal Bath, Rose Theatre Kingston and Theatr Clwyd, Mold until 26 October 2019. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 842 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. The 2019 class is 50% women, 29% people of color, and represents 59 countries. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2019.

According to Indie Wire, Oscar contenders  A STAR IS BORN and BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY will compete in the Golden Globes race as dramas and not musicals.
