Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theater of California, is pleased to announce that Academy Award-nominated writer and actress Nia Vardalos will reprise the role of Sugar in the Playhouse production of Tiny Beautiful Things.

At a ceremony tonight at the Prince of Wales Theatre hosted by Vicky Vox and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, the winners of the 19th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards were announced - the only major theatre awards decided entirely by the theatregoers themselves.

Tickets for HAMILTON will be available online through Ticketmaster Verified Fan, on Tuesday, March 12 at 10:00 AM ET.  Verified Fan is a new fan-facing technology from Ticketmaster that allows pre-registered fans to unlock access to tickets without competing against scalpers and bots.

HAMILTON is not throwing away it's shot to come to the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans from March 12 to 31, 2019.

Producer Jeffrey Seller and Hancock Whitney Broadway in New Orleans announce a digital lottery for HAMILTON tickets will begin in conjunction with the show's first performance (March 12) in New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre.  Forty (40) tickets will be sold for every performance for $10 each. 

FX's highly-anticipated Fosse/Verdon limited series will premiere Tuesday, April 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX. 

Broadway in Detroit announces a digital lottery for HAMILTON tickets will begin in conjunction with the show's first performance (March 12) in Detroit at the Fisher Theatre.  Forty (40) tickets will be sold for every performance for $10 each.  The digital lottery will open at 11:00 AM ET on Sunday, March 10 for tickets to the Tuesday, March 12 performance.  Subsequent digital lotteries will begin two days prior to each performance.   

FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME, the critically acclaimed improv troupe founded by Thomas Kail, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Anthony Veneziale, announced today the launch of Freestyle Love Supreme Academy, the first ever freestyle school created and run directly by FLS members, including teachers and guest facilitators, in partnership with long-time FLS producers Kail, Miranda, Ars Nova founders Jenny and Jon Steingart, and Hamilton co-producer Jill Furman.

Portland Center Stage at The Armory brings the critically acclaimed adaptation of Cheryl Strayed's Tiny Beautiful Things to debut in the author's hometown. Adapted by Nia Vardalos (writer and star of My Big Fat Greek Wedding), co-created by Vardalos, Thomas Kail (director of Hamilton) and Marshall Heyman, and directed by Rose Riordan, Tiny Beautiful Things explores the time Cheryl Strayed spent as the anonymous advice columnist behind "Dear Sugar," and the honest, intimate connection she forged with her readers. Dana Green takes on the role of Sugar, joined by Leif Norby, Lisa Renee Pitts, and Brian Michael Smith who play the letter writers.

Ars Nova, "one of the most adventurous Off-Broadway companies" (New York Times), under the leadership of Founding Artistic Director Jason Eagan and Managing Director Renee Blinkwolt, is proud to announce that tickets are on sale for Mrs. Murray's Menagerie, created by The Mad Ones and Phillip James Brannon, Brad Heberlee, Carmen M. Herlihy and January LaVoy. Directed by Lila Neugebauer, Mrs. Murray's Menagerie kicks-off Ars Nova at Greenwich House and marks The Mad Ones' first production since their critically acclaimed play Miles For Mary.

Fosse/Verdon is an eight-episode limited series from award-winning producers Thomas Kail, Steven Levenson, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Joel Fields. Production on the series is currently underway in New York City.

Hamilton is welcoming a new leading man tonight as Austin Scott steps into the role of Alexander Hamilton on Broadway! Scott previously led the company of the First National Tour. He takes over following Michael Luwoye's final performance on February 17th.

#EduHam is a series of HAMILTON Wednesday matinees made available to New York City schools with a high concentration of students from low-income families for the ticket price of only $10. This educational partnership, made possible through a $1.46 million grant by The Rockefeller Foundation, is not only providing 20,000 NYC public school students with the opportunity to see HAMILTON on Broadway, but provides educational material by Gilder Lehrman to incorporate material from the musical into the American History curriculum.

What more can be said about the juggernaut "Hamilton" that hasn't already been written? An ornate, elaborate leveled wooden backdrop and mobile staircases with minimal, simple set pieces and turntables floors showcased the exquisitely and insanely-talented lead actors and the equally-matched ensemble that brought each note to vivid life. The superb music - a blend of hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, and traditional Broadway tunes - was complemented by nearly nonstop, furiously-paced choreography.

Long Wharf Theatre presents Tiny Beautiful Things, based on the book by Cheryl Strayed; adapted for the Stage by Nia Vardalos; co-conceived by Marshall Heyman, Thomas Kail and Nia Vardalos; and directed by Ken Rus Schmoll.
