The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, today announces an initial line-up of guest artists and its honorary co-chairs for its 35th Birthday Gala, Part of His World: The Songs of Alan Menken on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, presented by The New York Pops.

The New York Pops and Music Director Steven Reineke were joined by Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart (currently appearing as Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in Hamilton, and previously seen as the Genie in Aladdin and Bobby in Memphis) and Broadway regular Capathia Jenkins (Medda inNewsies, as well as appearances in Caroline, Or Change, and Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me) for Heart and Soul on Friday, February 2 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall.

 The New York Pops and Music Director Steven Reineke unite with Roger Daltrey on Sunday, June 17 at 8:00 p.m. (doors at 6:30 p.m.)at Forest Hills Stadium-the historic sporting and entertainment venue located in the Queens, New York neighborhood of Forest Hills-for a special, one-night-only performance of The Who's 'TOMMY'. The orchestra and Daltrey are joined by a band of seasoned Who players, including guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend, guitarist Frank Simes, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button, and drummer Scott Devours.

The New York Pops, led by Music Director Steven Reineke, performs iconic themes from some of the biggest box office successes of the silver screen in The Best of Hollywood: Blockbuster Film Scores on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall. The program explores music from the beginnings of Hollywood to today, featuring works by composers like Erich Korngold, Max Steiner, Henry Mancini, Ennio Morricone, John Barry, Elmer Bernstein, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and more.

Clive Gillinson, Executive and Artistic Director, today announced Carnegie Hall's 2018 2019 season featuring approximately 170 performances by many of the world's leading artists and ensembles in classical, pop, jazz, and world music, plus a broad range of innovative education and social impact programs created by Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute, serving audiences in New York City and beyond.

The New York Pops, today announces its 2018-19 season of six performances in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall. The orchestra is led by charismatic Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, who this year celebrates his tenth season with the orchestra.

The Houston Symphony and Music Director Andr s Orozco-Estrada announced today details of the 2018-19 season, which marks Orozco-Estrada's fifth year as music director. Highlights of the season include conducting appearances by world-class violinists Joshua Bell and Itzhak Perlman; the world premiere of Aurora, a violin concerto by Houston Symphony Composer-in-Residence Jimmy L pez; and a semi-staged opera performance of Bart k's Bluebeard's Castle.

Two decades after the album's critically acclaimed release, hip-hop artist Nas teamed up with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, to stage a symphonic rendition of Illmatic, one of the most revered albums in hip-hop history.

Broadway's Krysta Rodriguez of the Tony Award nominated revival of Spring Awakening, joins the cast of the National Symphony Orchestra'sWest Side Story in Concert, led by Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke, February 14, 16, and 17, 2018 in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. Rodriguez replaces previously announced Ana Villafa e as Anita, who has withdrawn due to scheduling conflicts.

Principal POPS Conductor Steven Reineke and the Houston Symphony bring magic and animation to Jones Hall with Disney Fantasia Film with Live Orchestra Jan. 5-6 at 8 p.m. and Jan. 7 at 2:30 p.m.
