The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) Publicists today announced winners of its 57th Annual ICG Publicists Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. JOKER (Warner Bros. Pictures) won the top honors for the Maxwell Weinberg Award for Motion Pictures Publicity Campaign, presented by Director Paul Feig (Ghostbusters). THE MANDALORIAN: Season 1 (Disney+) won the Maxwell Weinberg Award for Television Publicity Campaign, presented by actor Jason Lewis (Sex in the City). This year's luncheon, which traditionally occurs the week leading up to the Academy Awards®, was chaired by Tim Menke and co-chaired by Sheryl Main. More than 800 industry leaders attended, including guild members, Hollywood public relations and marketing executives, producers, studio and network executives, celebrities and press.

The American Black Film Festival (ABFF) Honors announced today the recipients of two of their most prominent awards - Hollywood Legacy Award and Industry Renaissance Award - which each honor outstanding accomplishments in film and television. Academy AwardⓇ winner Louis Gossett, Jr. (“Watchmen,” “An Officer and a Gentleman”) will be honored with the Hollywood Legacy Award for his contributions to the entertainment industry. The Hollywood Legacy Award honors a legendary artist whose trailblazing work has inspired generations and made an enduring contribution to film and television. The  Audience Choice Awards of the 33rd ISRAEL FILM FESTIVAL in Los Angeles, the largest showcase of Israeli films in the United States, presented in a tie vote both Incitement, directed by Yaron Zilberman, Israel's Official Selection to the 2019 Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film and Forgiveness, directed by Guy Amir and Hanan Savyon, with the Audience Choice Award for Best Feature Film and Picture of his Life directed by Yonatan Nir and Dani Menkin with the Audience Choice Award for Best Documentary Film at the November 26th Closing Ceremony. For the first time, the winning filmmakers received a combined value of $190,000 in post-production services for their next film, the largest amount ever awarded by the Festival, courtesy of sponsor partners DCR Finance Corp, Los Angeles and Go Media Productions, Atlanta, Georgia, and OPUS Post Production, Tel Aviv, announced Meir Fenigstein, founder and executive director of the Festival.
