The F. Scott Fitzgerald classic 'The Great Gatsby' is almost 100 years old, but the story still resonates.

You can't beat City Halla?? but you can try. The Fountain Theatre presents the Los Angeles premiere of the fearless, hilarious Pulitzer Prize, New York Drama Critics Circle and Lucille Lortel award-winning comedy-drama, Between Riverside and Crazy byStephen Adly Guirgis.Guillermo Cienfuegos directs for an Oct. 19 opening, with performances continuing through Dec. 15. Pay-what-you-want previews begin Oct. 16.

The Fountain Theatre's Southern California premiere of DANIEL'S HUSBAND has brought together a not-oft-enough, ideal convergence of uniformly talent of talents - with witty, realistic, heart-rendering dialogue by playwright Michael McKeever; sturdy, even-paced directing by Simon Levy; first-rate technical elements; and a pitch, pitch-perfect cast of five actors, each at the top of their individual games.

OPENING! Columbia Children's Theatre presents THE THREE LITTLE PIGS with music by George Stiles and book and lyrics by Anthony Drewe. The production is directed by Paul Lindley II with choreography by Lisa Sendler and stars an ensemble cast. THE THREE LITTLE PIGS opens Saturday, April 20 and runs through Sunday, April 28. The Fountain Theatre presents the funny, passionate and poignantSouthern California premiere of Daniel's Husband, the 2018 off-Broadway hit play byMichael McKeever that was hailed as "compelling" by The New York Times, "emotionally charged" by the Huffington Post and "beautiful and powerful" by the Daily Beast. Opening night is set for May 4, with performances continuing through June 23. Pay-what-you-want previews begin May 1.

Notre Dame's Department of Film, Television, and Theatre (FTT) announces F. Scott Fitzgerald's fabled romance The Great Gatsby, adapted for the stage by Simon Levy, in the Patricia George Decio Theatre at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, April 10-14.

Trustus Theatre's Season 34, The Art of Adaptation, continues this spring with their production of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby. This American classic novel, adapted for the stage by Simon Levy, will take audiences back to the Jazz Age and will incorporate local talent from Trustus Theatre actors, Columbia City Ballet dancers, and Cola Jazz musicians.

The Fountain Theatre opens its 2019 season of fresh, funny and meaningful new work with the West Coast premiereof an award-winning "break beat play" by Idris Goodwin. Social injustice, racial identity, gender inequity, career ambition and friendship converge - and collide - in Hype Man, directed by Deena Selenow. Opening night is set for a Feb. 23, with performances continuing through April 14. 

The Fountain Theatre has announced a 2019-20 season of vibrant, thought-provoking, fresh and funny new work by a diverse group of playwrights, each of whom explores important social and cultural issues from a wholly unique perspective.

This year the Sag Harbor venue has mounted a superb showing of the classic jazz era play The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald adapted for the stage by Simon Levy.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to present this year's Literature Live! production of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, adapted for the stage by Simon Levy, directed by Joe Minutillo and choreographed by Stephanie Vertichio. This is the tenth year of the Literature Live! program. Public performances are Thursday through Saturday, November 8 - 10, 15 - 17, and Thanksgiving weekend Friday- Sunday, November 23 - 25. Achingly human, and surprisingly funny! TheFountain Theatre presents the West Coast premiere of Cost of Living, the 2018 Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Martyna Majok. John Vreeke directs for a Nov. 2 opening, with performances continuing through Dec.16.
