The hugely anticipated Broadway revival of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man has just released the first production image of Tony Award winner Shuler Hensley in character as Marcellus Washburn.

The Broadway League has announced 45 participating Regional Awards Programs for the 13th annual Jimmy Awards® which will take place on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 7:30pm at Broadway’s Minskoff Theatre.

The Broadway production of The Music Man has opted not to invite critics to preview performances ahead of its opening night. Breaking from the long-held Broadway tradition, the musical, led by Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, has instead invited critics to its opening night performance on February 10.

Hugh Jackman returned to The Music Man last night! The star had previously tested positive for Covid-19 and was forced to sit out performances of the show. 

Art Lab has announced a new performance date and venue for The Muse Sessions, the premiere of a unique concert series about inspiration and the creative process and the role of the muse in some of the world’s most beloved works of art. 

Jackman took to Instagram to share a video of his return to The Music Man on Broadway. The Music Man was recently forced to cancel performances, and Jackman tested positive for Covid-19. 

It was announced today all performances of Broadway's The Music Man are canceled through January 1st. All tickets can be refunded or exchanged at point of purchase. Performances will resume on Sunday, January 2.
