Due to enormous demand, new tickets go on sale tomorrow for Dolly Parton's smash-hit West End musical 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL, which will have its Australian Premiere at the Sydney Lyric Theatre in April 2020. Tickets are now on sale for performances from 21 April to 17 May from the website 9to5themusical.com.au

Following the huge success of 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL at the Savoy Theatre in London's West End, the producers of the show are delighted to announce that a second production of the hit musical will play 11 cities throughout the UK and Ireland, opening at the Alexandra Theatre Birmingham on 6 September 2019, before visiting Manchester, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Glasgow, Woking, Aberdeen, Cardiff, Sunderland, Edinburgh and Dublin. Down in the right-hand corner of my computer screen, it tells me that its Friday, May 19 - which means that Memorial Day Weekend is just a week away! - how in the world did we make it from New Year's Day to Memorial Day in what seems to me to be like 15 minutes? When you figure that out, please give me a heads-up so I can better prepare for Christmas shopping! Recorded live at London's Savoy Theatre, complete with audience reaction (rapturous during 'And I Am Telling You…'), it's a strong approximation of a thrilling theatre experience.
