A swingin' event, Sinatra & Dessert, featuring the marvelous music of Frank Sinatra and Nelson Riddle, will held on Sunday, May 7th, 2023, beginning promptly at 2:30pm until 4:30pm, at the Avon Marina Building, 2 Main Street, Avon-By-The-Sea, New Jersey. All happening indoors alongside a delightful picturesque view of the marina.

Rahway High School will present its winter musical production, Irving Berlin's White Christmas. Based on the classic movie musical starring Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney, it features timeless Berlin songs like 'Happy Holiday,' 'Blue Skies,' and of course the title song.

Forever Plaid is an Off-Broadway Musical Revue that was first performed in 1989 in New York, and was written by Stuart Ross. Now the show is performed Internationally. The show itself featured Stan Chandler, Guy Stroman, Gabriel Barre, and Jason Graae in the 1989 New York Cast. While James Raitt was responsible for the Musical arrangement, vocal arrangements and music direction, the show was Directed and Choreographed by its writer Stuart Ross. The Musical Revue was produced into a feature film, which was released in 2009 starring two of the original cast members (Chandler, and Engel)and Larry Raben and Daniel Reichard as Sparky and Frankie respectively. Fans of the show will notice that in the film adaptation, “The Golden Cardigan,” and “Catch a Falling Star,” were omitted.

The Shaw Festival is presenting their joyous version this year on the Festival stage and the result is pure technicolor heaven.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present the 13th Annual “A Swinging Birdland Christmas” – starring vocalists Klea Blackhurst, Jim Caruso, and Billy Stritch – for six performances from Tuesday, December 20 to Sunday, December 25 at 5:30 PM.
