Greek National Opera to Stage FAUST

The Greek National Opera (GNO) will present a revival of its 2012 production of Charles Gounod’s Faust with eight performances April 6 through 17. The production, which premiered in 2012 at Megaron–The Athens Concert Hall, will be presented at the Stavros Niarchos Hall for the first time, conducted by Pierre Dumoussaud and directed by Renato Zanella.

The critically acclaimed The Lehman Trilogy opens March 6, 2022, at the Ahmanson after its successful runs on Broadway and the West End. Multi-award-winning Sam Mendes directs Simon Russell Beale and Adam Godley reprising their Broadway roles, with Howard W. Overshown who understudied in the Broadway production. Playwright Ben Power has adapted Stefano Massini’s original script on the deep-dive history of the Lehman Brothers investment banking company.

Greek National Opera Announces Additional Date For OTELLO

With tickets for the production’s first seven performances selling out, the Greek National Opera has announced one additional date for Otello – 19 March 2022, at 19.30. Verdi’s masterpiece is conducted by Stathis Soulis, and directed, designed, and with lighting by Robert Wilson.
