The acclaimed, record-breaking run of Disney's Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation, created and directed by Jonathan Rockefeller, announced today three new summer events for audiences of all ages: a sensory friendly performance, nostalgia nights, and themed Hunny Hunt dessert partners throughout the city.

Today, Theatre Under The Stars announced changes to its upcoming 2022/23 Season including the addition of a brand new show. TUTS will be producing the regional premiere of The Secret of My Success. Based on the hit 1980s film that starred Michael J. Fox.

All new photos have been released from the West End production of Mary Poppins, as Louis Gaunt takes over the role of Bert. Gaunt replaces Charlie Stemp whilst he performs as Bobby in the Chichester Festival Theatre production of Crazy for You this summer. 

The final extension has been announced for the West End run of the Olivier Award-winning Mary Poppins which will celebrate its final West End performance at the Prince Edward Theatre on 8 January 2023. 

Beginning tonight (22 June 2022) Louis Gaunt joins the cast of Mary Poppins to play the iconic role of Bert, replacing Charlie Stemp whilst he performs as Bobby in the Chichester Festival Theatre production of Crazy for You this summer.  

Disney's Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation will embark on a national tour this fall. Performances begin September 16, 2022, in Irving, Texas at Irving Arts Center, and will crisscross the U.S. - see the full tour schedule. 

Today (15 June 2022) Cameron Mackintosh Limited announce their West End productions of Hamilton and Mary Poppins are extending their booking periods to December 2022. 

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) announced the celebration of its 70th anniversary. Officially recognized on May 29th, the date former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg declared “Music Theatre International Day” in 2012, MTI is celebrating this milestone throughout the next year by showcasing the incredible talents of theatrical organizations around the world.

The Cortland Repertory Theatre Box Office will open Monday, May 23rd for all summer ticket sales for their 50th anniversary summer season.  CRT's Box Office is located at CRT Downtown, 24 Port Watson Street in downtown Cortland and is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays from noon – 6:00 PM.

After more than two years since its original opening night was set in 2020, Nashville Repertory Theatre’s eagerly anticipated production of Disney’s Mary Poppins – the stage musicalization of P.L. Travers’ tales of the acerbic British nanny and her oft-misbehaving charges – has finally landed on the stage of the James K. Polk Theatre at Tennessee Performing Arts Center.

Cortland Repertory Theatre has announced their 2022 5-show summer season to be held at the Little York Pavilion in Preble, NY, as a celebration of their 50th Anniversary. The season will run from June 8 – August 20 and will contain three musicals and two plays.

Algonquin Arts Theatre has announced its 2022-2023 Broadway Series titles. Flying in to start the season is Mary Poppins followed by the theatre's August production of The Who's Tommy. In October, Man of LaMancha returns to the Algonquin Stage.

In celebration of the 100-year anniversary of published Sherman family songwriting, Sherman Theatrical Entertainment Ltd. has announced the release of The Robbie Sherman Songbook: Backing Tracks and Vocal Guides, the premier audition tool for musical theatre professionals determined to succeed in the musical theatre industry.

The Muny announced today that season tickets for its 2022 summer season will be available beginning at 9am Monday, March 21. Tickets can be purchased online at muny.org, by phone at (314) 361-1900, or in person at The Muny Box Office, open 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. The Muny continues to be St. Louis’ destination for summer musicals, celebrating 104 seasons in Forest Park this summer. 

The Group Rep presents producer/director/writer Bruce Kimmel’s L.A. Now and Then, a brand new musical revue celebrating the City of Angels opening April 1, 2022. Cast features the vocals talents of Bita Arefnia, Lottie Arnold, Lisa Dyson, Harrison Fahn, Liz Grannis, Tim Hearl, Haruna Kajino, Marcel Licera, Danika Masi, Hisato Masuyama, Alariza Nevarez, Alec Reusch, Jeffrey Rockwell, Margaret Staedler and Tamir Yardenne, with musical direction by Richard Allen.
