This coming weekend New Canaan Town Players Stage II will present Robert Hawkins's Quiet! Three Ladies Laughing!, a play that is as inimitable as the story behind it.

NAATCO will begin performances for the Off-Broadway premiere of Hansol Jung’s modern verse translation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the classic tale of star-crossed lovers.  Jung will co-direct Romeo and Juliet with Dustin Wills.

Funny man Sammy J is back on tour, in one huge musical comedy sketch show, starring all your favourite characters from his hit TV Show. 

After winning two 2022 Broadway World Cabaret Awards, Three Men and a Baby Grand, starring Brandon James Gwinn, Dylan Hartwell and Greg Sullivan takes the stage for an encore performance Thursday April 27th at 7:00PM at Greenroom42.

As its compelling live theatre production of Ordinary People comes to a close this weekend, Town Players of New Canaan has announced that its benefit performance of the show on Saturday, Feb. 25, raised $18,000 to support the New Canaan Urgent Assessment Program.

After five years, 200 episodes and countless legal threats Sammy J is stepping away from his weekly ABC TV spot - but not before throwing a giant party. Town Players of New Canaan's upcoming live theatre production of Ordinary People is anything but ordinary. The play, based on the Oscar-winning movie starring Donald Sutherland, Mary Tyler Moore and Timothy Hutton, will open Feb. 17 and run through March 5 at the Powerhouse Theatre in Waveny Park.

English born writer, comedian, actor, radio and television presenter, Jason Manford, will tour Australia for the first time in April/May 2023.

The Town Players of New Canaan will present their third production of the 2022-23 season, JOYFUL NOISE, written by Tim Slover and directed by Nancy L. Mayer. The producer is Deborah Burke. The production will run November 18 to December 4 at the Powerhouse Theater at Waveny Park.

Corvus Arts Theatre will present their debut work, the Australian premiere of The Dazzle by Tony Award winning American playwright Richard Greenberg. Witty, disturbing, shockingly funny and profoundly humane, The Dazzle is playing at Meraki Arts Bar, November 16 - December 3.

On Friday, April 8, The Town Players of New Canaan will open Noël Coward’s delightful comedy, HAY FEVER at the Powerhouse Theatre in Waveny Park as its next mainstage show for 2022. The curtain rises at 8:00 p.m. for a three week run. The production is directed by Deborah Burke and produced by Sheila Toner.
