The Tony & Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit Beautiful—The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will make its Detroit return at the Fisher Theatre, January 4-9, 2022.

Trevor: The Musical is about a charming 13-year-old force of nature with a vivid imagination. As he deals with becoming a teenager, Trevor struggles to navigate his own identity and determine how he fits in a challenging world.

Beginning with tonight’s first preview, a limited number of $35 digital lottery tickets will be available for each performance of Trevor: The Musical, now playing at Stage 42 (442 West 42nd Street, near 9th Avenue). The show will officially open on Wednesday, November 10.

The North American tour of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning hit musical Beautiful- The Carole King Musical will welcome Sara Sheperd (Carole King), James D. Gish (Gerry Goffin), Sara King (Cynthia Weil), Ryan Farnsworth (Barry Mann), Matt Loehr (Don Kirshner) and Rachel Coloff (Genie Klein) to the Company.

13-year-old Holden William Hagelberger from Sugarland, Texas has been cast in the role of “Trevor” in Trevor: The Musical, following a process which included a national virtual casting call with over 1300 submissions.  Learn all about it here. 

The production will hold technical rehearsals and performances at Chicago's CIBC Theatre (November 2-7, 2021) before embarking on its 2021-22 North American Touring season. Casting will be announced later.

Sharing details regarding the plot would be a disservice to the piece and those who will accept my encouragement to experience it for themselves. Producers Roy Furman John Ambrosino / Josie Bray / Mark Woods have announced the 19-member company of Trevor, the new musical making its New York premiere beginning Tuesday, April 7 ahead of a Tuesday, April 21 opening night at Stage 42 (442 West 42nd Street). Rehearsals begin Tuesday, February 25.
