Christina Franklin has been training and working in New York's theater scene since she was eight years old — starting out in the rehearsal studios of TADA! Youth Theater (whose notable alumni include Kerry Washington and Jordan Peele) and taking her gift for storytelling all the way to Broadway. Irvington Theater will bring Franklin's newest play, Cleanse, to virtual audiences from May 21-23.

Stand-up comedy - the cornerstone of the Comedy Central foundation - is FRONT AND CENTER to kick off the new year! January 2019 is Stand-Up Month on Comedy Central, featuring four all-new stand-up specials from comedic heavyweights Ron Funches (@midnight, The Half Hour), James Davis (Hood Adjacent with James Davis), Chris Distefano (Stupid Questions with Chris Distefano, The Half Hour) and Roy Wood Jr. (The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Roy Wood Jr.: Father Figure), airing consecutive Fridays throughout the month at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. Spanning the Centuries, Hoff-Barthelson Music School's week-long Festival celebrating music composed between 1750 and 1900, will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018, through Sunday, March 18, 2018. The Festival, featuring music of great Germanic composers - Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Brahms - as well as masters from other lands, includes student recitals, a faculty concert by the School's Cello Virtuosi, a lecture on the life and works of Beethoven, presented by Michael Boriskin, Artistic Director of the Copland House, and instrumental and choral ensemble concerts.
