THE DJANGO, downtown Manhattan’s premier jazz club, will continue to host today’s jazz legends and rising stars. On February 3, The Django celebrates the fifth anniversary of the Brooklyn-based record label, La Reserve, with special performances by the label’s artists.

Violeta Angelova, former principal dancer of the Suzanne Farrell Ballet, and Matthew Prescott, a former member of the Suzanne Farrell Ballet, and who has danced with the Joffrey Ballet and the Dance Theatre of Harlem, will appear as guest artists in the Ballet Arts of Jackson’s production of The Nutcracker on December 10, 11, and 12, 2021 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, Tennessee.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the return of Literature Live! with the staged virtual premiere of Shakespeare's Macbeth on Tuesday, November 9, at 8 p.m., followed by a talkback between the show's creators and actors. The Literature Live! presentation of Macbeth will be available via on-demand streaming starting Monday, November 8, through Sunday, December 5.

In this workshop, participants will learn the stories and song structures of famous musicals and work on actually constructing the music with instructors who are graduate/student of prestigious music schools in New York, the home of musicals, and work on actually constructing the music.

The Echo Theater Company's next production UNDERNEATH THE FREEWAYS OF LOS ANGELES will live-stream April 2 for sixteen Zoom performances. The Fire This Time Festival, the destination for early career and emerging playwrights from the African diaspora, announces its 2020 dates.
