Christmastime is here at last and BroadwayWorld is continuing our favorite annual tradition of celebrating the holiday season with a 12 Days of Christmas countdown. This year we've invited two stars of stage and screen, Michael Urie and Philemon Chambers, to share some of their most cherished holiday songs and performances.

“Leave comedy to the bears, Ebenezer!” Back in 1992, the idea that the Muppets could do a passable version of Charles Dickens’ classic novella may have been a stretch of the imagination for some, but fast forward to 2021 and it’s a tradition for many; “I didn’t realise this many people liked the Muppets!”, squealed a young girl to her father as she made her way to her seat.

The View celebrated Halloween today with a special tribute to movie musicals! The episode featured Whoopi Goldberg as Audrey II, Joy Behar as Magenta from Rocky Horror, Sara Haines as Satine from Moulin Rouge!, Sonny Hostin as Deena from Dreamgirls, and Ana Navarro as Evita! ABC has announced “The Queen Family Singalong,” the fourth installment of its successful “Singalong” franchise, hosted by Darren Criss. The special will include performances from the Broadway casts of The Lion King and Aladdin, plus appearances from Adam Lambert, Derek Hough, Miss Piggy, Pentatonix, and more.

Bryant Park will kick off its “Broadway to Film” series tonight as part of the iconic Bryant Park Movie Nights. The lineup includes screenings of three films that currently have productions returning to Broadway this fall. 

Since its release two weeks ago, '2 Wrecked 2 Care' has been picked up by Flood, Ghettoblaster Dork, DIY, Clash and others.

In preparation for the world premiere of the Muppets' first-ever streaming show, “Muppets Now,”  Kermit the Frog will conduct a video chat to break the news that Disney+ has ordered six half-hour muppisodes premiering July 31.

Although James Corden, Reggie Watts and The Muppets can't be together in a studio, the group comes together on video chat to sing The Beatles classic 'With a Little Help from My Friends.'

Today, Disney+ shared a first look trailer at its upcoming original series “Muppets Now,” premiering exclusively on the streaming service on Friday, July 31. In their first-ever unscripted series, the Muppets make their streaming debut in an all-new six-episode show starring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and the entire gang.
