Artistic Director & Executive Producer at The Muny, Mike Isaacson, welcomed members from the cast of 1776 in a new video! Cast members include  Robert Petkoff, Adam Heller, Keith Hines, Rob Ruggiero,Enrique Brown, Jenny Powers, Ali Ewoldt, Alex Prakken, Ben Davis, and Michael James Reed. 

Broadway composer Andrew Lippa (THE ADDAMS FAMILY, BIG FISH) joins Patrick Oliver Jones, host of the Why I'll Never Make It podcast, to discuss his musical work on and off Broadway, including his latest collaboration with Kristin Chenoweth on a TIGER KING parody song called 'Little Pieces.'

With careful and ongoing consideration, The Muny announced today a revised schedule to offer musical theatre in Forest Park this summer. Pushing opening night to late July, The Muny hopes to present five of the seven productions originally announced in the 2020 season, with the other two productions being postponed until the 2021 season.

The St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards (SLHSMTA) will announce eligible nominees during a virtual medallion ceremony hosted by Mike Isaacson (The Muny Artistic Director & Executive Producer) and Mandy Murphey (KTVI Fox 2 News Anchor).

David Byrne's American Utopia is headed back to Broadway this fall!

David Byrne's American Utopia plays its final Broadway performance tonight, February 16. Its limited run officially opened at the Hudson Theatre on October 20.

Academy Award-winning director Spike Lee is signed on to direct a filmed version of the acclaimed Broadway show, David Byrne's American Utopia.

The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for its 2020 season, which opens June 15 with Kander and Ebb's internationally-acclaimed Chicago. Among the talented list are a mix of Muny favorites and newcomers. In addition to casting, a comprehensive list of design teams for each production will be released later this spring. Telsey + Company is the official casting partner for Muny.

The critically acclaimed David Byrne's American Utopia has added three performances on Monday, December 30 at 8pm, Tuesday, February 4 at 8pm and Tuesday, February 11 at 8pm. The show opened to rave reviews on October 20 and must close Sunday, February 16 at the intimate Hudson Theatre on Broadway.

After a remarkable inaugural season of its Second Century, which welcomed more than 350,000 theatregoers, The Muny announced today its blockbuster seven show lineup for its 102nd Season.

The Muny has announced that St. Louis native and longtime Muny performer, Alex Prakken will star alongside the previously announced Mikaela Bennett in the eighth installment of its off-season concert series, Muny Magic at The Sheldon, November 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m.
