Overture Center has revealed its 20th Anniversary 2024/25 season. Broadway at Overture welcomes back audience-favorite “Wicked,” also celebrating its 20th anniversary year, and includes the Wisconsin premieres of “& Juliet,” “Shucked” and “The Neil Diamond Musical: A Beautiful Noise.”

The FSCJ Artist Series Broadway in Jacksonville has announced the 24/25 Broadway season shows coming to the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts.

The LA-based soul and funk singer Nikka Costa has just released her third single “It’s Just Love” after returning from a six-year hiatus with 'Dirty Disco' and “Keep It High”. “It’s Just Love” is “a song about being able to love who you want and everyone else should just mind their own damn business. Dark Horse Records has announced the release of Dreamers In The Field, the first-ever collaboration between Huun-Huur-Tu, Carmen Rizzo and Dhani Harrison. Celebrity Attractions has announced the lineup for the 2024-25 season at the Robinson Center. The season kicks off in September 2024 with Peter Pan and continues through April 2025.

The Las Vegas Michael Jackson tribute show, MJ Live, is suing the Michael Jackson estate over the use of its logo.

I remember seeing a remarkable, ten-year-old Michael Jackson with his brothers on Sunday’s Ed Sullivan Show in the late 1960s.  He was a heck of a performer even then.   It seems remarkable that the man that little boy became passed away more than fifteen years ago. More unbelievably, Michael would be eligible this year for Social Security and Medicare.

The Henry Mancini family continues to celebrate what would have been the late legendary composer’s 100th birthday with the announcement of The Henry Mancini 100th Sessions – Henry Has Company. The album is the latest installment in what will be a year-long endeavor honoring the 20-time GRAMMY® and 4-time Academy Award winner whose centennial is being celebrated on April 16th. The Henry Mancini 100th Sessions – Henry Has Company will be available June 21st via Primary Wave, and the first single, “Peter Gunn,” featuring Quincy Jones, John Williams, Herbie Hancock, and Arturo Sandoval, is out now.
