The Summer Theatre of New Canaan will open its 20th season with the Broadway musical spectacular Beauty And The Beast July 15th.

Earlier this week, company members from Grease gathered at Sardi's to celebrate the show's 50th Bradway anniversary. 

In 1977, stars from Broadway shows gathered onboard a New York City subway car to take what would become an iconic photo, appearing with the tag line “The Only Sure Way to Make It to Broadway.” Forty-four years later, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Broadway advertising agency RPM collaborated to re-create this photo.

Students from the Performing Arts Conservatory of New Canaan have released a video of themselves singing 'Into the Unknown' from Disney's Frozen 2. 'The music video was created and performed virtually to thank all the First Responders, Healthcare and Essential Workers who everyday go 'Into The Unknown' on our behalf,'

The Summer Theatre of New Canaan (STONC) celebrates its 15th season delivering professional theatre to Connecticut audiences with a production of 'Kiss Me, Kate' on its main stage at Waveny Park. In addition, STONC will debut a free, limited-run performance of 'The Complete Works of William Shakespeare' in downtown New Canaan's Christine's Park, in conjunction with the New Canaan Library.

TheaterWork's production of the musical "Next to Normal" led the nominations for the 27th annual Connecticut Critics Circle Awards event to be held Monday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart University's Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts in Fairfield.

Over twenty stars from Broadway and Fairfield County will perform in A NIGHT OF STARS IN CONCERT December 7th to benefit the Summer Theatre of New Canaan and support their successful arts education programs. Broadway, Regional and local professional artists will be performing the popular show tunes from such great Broadway shows as South Pacific, Carousel, My Fair Lady, Big River, Grease, Camelot, The Music Man, Jekyll & Hyde, Rock of Ages, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream coat, Hair Spray, Mary Poppins and more.
