Two of the industry's most prolific songwriters put their works, their mutual admiration for one another, and their friendship on display in their first ever show together, and the result is magical.

Karen Mason brings her famed Christmas concert back to Birdland after taking two years off... And the crowds are ready for it!

Even before she takes the stage, Ann Kittredge is a knock-out. Emerging from the back of the theatre in a red satin robe, hands playfull sparring in black boxing gloves, Ms. Kittredge seems poised for victory. And by the end of her superbly crafted musical revue, Fancy Meeting You Here, An Evening of Ahrens & Flaherty, you'd be hard pressed to find a challenger to disagree. For in this, Ms. Kittredge's follow up to her 2018 Mac Award winning cabaret debut, she emerges as story-songstress supreme: a title that may be undefeated for some time to come.

Singer/Actress, Jennifer Roberts, celebrates the work of Broadway icon Sheldon Harnick in She Loves…  Sheldon! with One More Show Only at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, Tuesday, February 5th at 7 PM. The show is directed by Lance Roberts, with music director/pianist, Tedd Firth, and Phil Palombi on bass.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presented a first-time ever NYC concert event featuring the songs of The Me Nobody Knows!

Urban Stages' Board of Directors and founding artistic director Frances Hill celebrated 'The Magic of Theater by presenting the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award to legendary actor Jim Date at their Gala Benefit. The event was held at the Boathouse in Central Park at 6:30PM on May 14, 2018. The award was presented by stage and screen star Simon Jones (Farinelli and the King, The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy).

The 5th Annual 'Tomatoes Got Talent' Contest celebrating the talents of women-over-40 who are currently not working pros took place on Monday, April 9 at The Triad. It was hosted by Randie Levine-Miller, who co-produced with Cheryl Benton, the founder and publisher of Thethreetomatoes.com, which sponsors the event. Jimmy Horan music directed what became a real musical happening!

On Monday night the Broadway knockouts and opera songbirds of Andrew Lloyd Webber's LOVE NEVER DIES! touring company benefited the great efforts of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the company will be performed everything from classic rock to classic Broadway to the great tunes of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber himself.

In an awards ceremony at New  York's 13th Street Repertory Theater, Maryann Lopinto has been presented with the 'Seth Sikes Award,' honoring her 50 years of service to cabaret  and theater communities.  

Musicals can be murder… Step back in time to 1959 when the musical Robbin' Hood is trying out in Boston. The sets won't work, the audiences are leaving, and the leading lady has been murdered! Who did it? And why?

Just four months after acclaimed Musical Director Barry Levitt tragically died of a heart attack just hours before a performance at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, Charlotte Patton--a beloved performer for whom Levitt frequently played and was one of his closest friends in Cabaret--died early Thursday morning at Mt. Sinai Hospital after an almost two-year battle with cancer. Both passed away at the age of 70. 

Broadway and West end star Marcus Lovett returned to Feinstein's/54 Below 7 PM, January 19 and 20, with an all-new cabaret act after a success engagement last July.

Feinstein's/54 Below presented a priceless evening of songs and stories with actor/author Ron Fassler telling his own personal tales of Broadway from his new book Up In The Cheap Seats, a chronicle of the time when he saw more than 200 Broadway shows as a teenager, all for as little as $2.

Cabaret Producer, Promoter, and Performer Stephen Hanks has been chosen by Urban Stages Founding Artistic Director Frances Hill and Director of Musical Theatre Peter Napolitano to Produce and Host the Opening and Closing Night Gala Shows for the organization's Ninth Annual WINTER RHYTHMS SERIES, running this year from December 12 through December 23 at the Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues).

54 Below presented '54 BELOW SINGS KANDER AND EBB'S WOMAN OF THE YEAR' on Wednesday, November 29th, 2017. This performance featured an all star cast with nine ladies singing the songs of TESS (Lauren Bacall on Broadway), four men singing for SAM, and all the other roles covered by the rest of the cast. The performers were: Klea Blackhurst, Todd Buonopane, Mary Callahan, Robert Cuccioli, Joyce DeWitt, Natalie Douglas, John Epperson, Anita Gillette, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Dee Hoty, Christine Toy Johnson, Luba Mason, Julia Murney, Brad Oscar, Christine Pedi, Eve Plumb, Robbie Rozelle, and Kevin Zak. The musical director was Joshua Zecher-Ross, with Corey Schuyler on the bass, Chris Schultz on the drums and Dan Glaude on the reed.

On Sunday, November 19th, Encompass New Opera Theatre, The Board of Trustees and The Encompass Honorary Gala Chairs, Alan Alda, Sheldon Harnick, John Kander, and Maury Yeston paid tribute to Broadway's sparkling luminary, Christine Ebersole, with a star-studded musical salute. ASCAP Award-winning playwright Chip Deffaa will lead audience talk-backs after performances of his new show, 'Irving Berlin: In Person,' at the 13th Street Repertory Theater.

Performances begin November 13th for 'Irving Berlin: In Person,' written and directed by ACAP Award-winner Chip Deffaa. Jon Peterson--fresh from starring in the national tour of 'Cabaret'--stars in this new solo show at New York's historic 13th Street Repertory Theater. Richard Danley is music director.
