Broadway and West end star Marcus Lovett returned to Feinstein's/54 Below 7 PM, January 19 and 20, with an all-new cabaret act after a success engagement last July.

A blend of musical styles, Marcus Lovett, Moonlighting finds Lovett backed by a six-piece combo, re-imagining the American Songbook with a combination of jazz, rock, blues, and Broadway sensibilities. Music direction is by Greg Pliska, and Stacey Sullivan will appear with Lovett as a special guest.

"Cabaret is in full flower right now," says Lovett in a statement, "with artists experimenting and speaking out. What I want to do is bring a nightclub sophistication from another time to the present... I want to experiment with the genre and synthesize all the things that excite and inspire me."

Lovett, an original star of Les Misérables, has been seen on Broadway in The Phantom of the Opera, Carousel, and Aspects of Love. He's currently touring the world as part of The Four Phantoms project, alongside Franc D'Ambrosio, Ciarán Sheehan, and Brent Barrett. Later this year will see the release of his fourth studio album, Marcus Lovett, Random Acts of Love, which will find Lovett performing in concert in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Chicago, and New York.
