Gingold Theatrical Group today announced the cancellation of the upcoming Shaw Songs @ The Players.

When he was 11 years old  a teacher sent a sealed letter home to his mother suggesting that Zachary might enjoy doing theater. That was the beginning of a journey that brings us Zachary Quinto who has had an extraordinary career on stage, film and television. He produces too!  From losing his father at a very young age and his friendship with mentor, friend and father figure Leonard Nimoy, Quinto shares intimate truths and little known facts about his life.

Instrumental Storytellers takes audiences on imaginative journeys in this special co-production between Concert Artists Guild and Creative Stage Collective. Classical chamber music, played by virtuoso CAG artists Jordan Bak (viola), Yoonah Kim (clarinet), and Yi-Nuo Wang (piano), provides inspiration for enchanting stories and characters created by the child and adult actors of the Creative Stage Collective.

Take a journey through the golden age of Arabic music (1960-1979) with Faraj Abyad - a singer and musician of Syrian/Aleppian descent. In this concert, Faraj and his orchestra will perform classic repertoire from Syria, Lebanon and Egypt.

UCLA's Center of the Art of Performance's Artist Residency Program provides local and national artists creative time and necessary space for the development of new work. Each year CAP UCLA welcomes a new cohort and offers resources, time, connections and more to their process of bringing an idea to the stage.   Suzanne Bocanegra, one of this season's Artists In Residence, will workshop and develop her piece, Honor: An Artist Lecture the week of November 18. The week will conclude with an invited work-in-progress showing on Friday, November 22. The completed work will appear in an upcoming CAP UCLA season.
